Business writing skills play an important role in making you stand out above the rest. Good business writing skills need to be consistently developed and enhanced through regular practice. These essential skills can be acquired within a couple of days of training and seminar. However, the mastery can only be obtained through regular practice.

EPiC Business Writing

is designed by Genashtim to combine independent-learning and personalized coaching. Participants will be able to gain a better understanding of business writing, acquire the relevant skills and practice what they have learned.

About the Program

The EPiC Business Writing program is a (2-week) course and is divided into 3 phases:

8 hours of independent learning at the flexibility of the learner.

Take part in the Discussion Board and attempt the quizzes at the end of each module.

Practice writing using the Cambridge Write & Improve software and receive instant diagnostic feedback.

Do 2 assignments (200 to 500 words essays) and get feedback from our EPiC Online coaches.

Coach feedback given offline and online for assignments done during the course.

Receive on-going support throughout the program.

Utilise the Cambridge Write & Improve platform as an on-demand writing tool.

Our Coaches

Nancy Ong

Nancy Ong is the Section Manager of the Language Department at Genashtim Pte Ltd. She has more than 10 years of experience as a trainer and coach for business writing. Nancy Ong’s expertise has benefited many participants who have seen improvement in their process of writing business documents.

Roldan Pagaduan

Roldan Pagaduan is a Learning Content Developer at Genashtim Pte Ltd, in which he also serves as one of the coaches for the Business Writing Course. Roldan’s background in teaching, private tutoring, and writing urged him to pursue a career in Learning Content Development. Despite being on a wheelchair, Roldan holds a Bachelor in Elementary Education degree and is a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines. Currently, he is pursuing his master’s degree in Distance Education at the University of the Philippines Open University. In addition, Roldan’s rally for inclusivity has inspired him to pursue a career in education—may it be formal or informal.

Madje Lagare

Madje is a Quality Assurance Language Specialist for Genashtim Pte Ltd with almost two decades of business and professional experience. She has obtained a TESOL certification from Arizona State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science Major in Biology and Juris Doctor degrees. She has been passionate about writing from a young age. She became editor-in-chief of her school paper at age of 10. She has won various awards in regional and national school press conference writing competitions. Her love for writing made her decide to join Genashtim, a virtual office that delivers quality eLearning to its global clients.

Catherine So

Catherine So is a copy editor at Genashtim Pte Ltd and has two decades of work experience in the academe. With a solid background in Psychology, she has worked with students of varied physical, mental, and psychological conditions. Catherine believes that learning is a life-long process and is a staunch supporter of Inclusive Education. Understanding that there is beauty and strength in diversity, she is passionate about individuality and regards it as a potent ingredient in enriching the learning process, considering that each one has a role to play and is capable of making a difference.

Iza Ahmad

Iza Ahmad is the Deputy Head of the Language Department at Genashtim Pte Ltd, in which she is also part of the Coaching and Content Development Team. She is an avid linguist with more than two decades of teaching and training experience in the education, corporate, and service industries. She specialises in language learning and is a certified English and Bahasa Malaysia translator. Iza believes that the pursuit of knowledge is lifelong and that one should treat it as an ardent journey. A voracious reader, an adventurous foodie and an amateur watercolourist, she is currently learning Chinese calligraphy and taking formal piano lessons.
